ABOUT PORT & PEBBLE

Port & Pebble are a luxury home fragrance brand selling candles and diffusers made with pure essential oils and natural ingredients.

Launched in 2021, brand owner Nina was keen to bring a range of premium products to the market at an affordable price point without the use of synthetic ingredients found in many other brands.

THE PROCESS

Nina was after a simple, elegant and luxury feel for the brand. The name Port & Pebble was reminiscent of tranquil water, quiet harbours and fishing ports.

Use of natural, eco friendly ingredients were a key USP so it was important to highlight this within the packaging design and marketing / point of sale materials.

We agreed a simple wordmark style logo was best suited to give a minimal but luxury feel with the addition of a hand drawn ampersand for a more bespoke feel. A hand script typeface was paired up which would be used across the range of the five different fragrances.

A earthy colour palette of a rust, copper and pale clay were chosen to complement the natural and eco friendly ingredients used throughout the products.

With the logo and identity in place, a range of labels and packaging were designed. A textured and eco friendly paper stock was chosen for packaging labels that would compliment black recycled candle and diffuser boxes. The off white textured labels added to the brands premium feel.

A set of postcards for hand written Thank You messages were designed along with stickers to seal packaging.

Photography was styled and shot in the studio using ingredients as props to match each candles key ingredients. These images formed the imagery for retail strut cards so Port & Pebble products could be stocked in selected boutique stores as well as being sold online.
