DOING OUR PART TO PROTECT THE ENVIRONMENT

My emphasis is on living and working in the most sustainable and eco conscious ways. I regularly make changes and improvements to the way the studio runs to reduce the carbon footprint even further.

MATERIALS

I work with a range of eco friendly materials (paper & wood) which are either made from recycled pulp that can also be recycled. Paper stocks for printing are FSE certified. FSC certification means that products come from responsibly managed forests. All wood for signage is responsibly sourced and reclaim materials are used with preference where projects suit. Offcuts are kept for smaller projects.

Both water based and oil based products and paints are used for signage with all paints and spirits disposed of in the correct manner.

PACKAGING

All packaging is reused, made from recycled materials or can be recycled. I avoid use of plastic in the studio and all packing tape is paper which is 100% recycled and fully biodegradable.

PRINTING

I offer eco friendly and sustainable product options to customers for printing, including the use of eco friendly inks where the option is available. I work closely with a range of different printers so can advise on options available. Ink cartridges from our studio are sent for recycling.
